Happy Friday! It was a tough week for a lot of parents, including myself, since my kids started school and are currently learning remotely. I’ve already made an appointment for some self-care this weekend since I haven’t had a chance to get to the hair salon since they shut-down and re-opened due to the pandemic.
I still try to keep up with a daily skin care routine, it’s my way of focusing on just myself without distraction (for the most part). Sephora has different sales every season and the Fall sale is going to be coming up for VIB and Beauty Insiders-it’s free and you’ll earn points gifts from Sephora and special discounts. You can get up to 15% off of their products during the sale and before that happens- I wanted to share a few of my favorite items that work for any skin type.

Skincare Products:
- Clarifying Lotion Toner: I feel like toner is one of those steps that get skipped a lot, but it helps remove dead skin cells before moisturizing so I had to add it.
- Eye Cream: Won multiple awards because it’s super tightening for fine lines under your eyes and you can see results pretty quickly.
- Vitamin C Serum: I heard so many great things about this serum and like that it’s lightweight with a higher concentration than most serums.
- Hydrating Day Serum: Another good serum. It dissolves dead skin cells and penetrates deep into the pores for intense hydration.
- SPF Setting Spray: I just love that this is a makeup setting spray that also has SPF.
- Perfume: One of my favorites.
- Night Oil: I don’t usually use products with retinol, but this one has just enough to help with anti-aging, and it doesn’t make my skin dry out or peel.
- Water Cream Moisturizer: A burst of skin improving Japanese nutrients.
Makeup:
A few of the items I’ll use (I’ll try to get a whole list of my favorite makeup products for the different looks soon!):
- Luminous Skin Mist: Good for a dewy skin glow.
- Primer: Backlight Primer that hydrates and mattifying our look.
- Foundation: lightweight but a silky finish. I love this one.
- Mascara: How you’ll get the most intense, black, multidimensional lashes possible.
- Dip-brow Pomade: Glides right on to shape, shade or sculpt for a defined look.
Weekly:
- Lightweight Mask: Works as a mini-facial while gently exfoliating at the same time.
- Charcoal Treatment Mask: instantly and visibly clears pores and improves the complexion
- A Protein Moisturizer: For stronger looking skin.
