Beach Palace Cancun- For a Fun All-Inclusive Family Vacation

Are you considering taking a trip to an all-inclusive resort? They’re great options for families–simply because they remove a lot of the decision making! We chose to stay at Beach Palace in Cancun where meals, drinks, activities, and childcare are all included in the price of the stay at such an affordable rate for a luxury experience!

Beach Palace is sleek and chic, providing a modern blend of service and style that is ideal for families, groups and active travelers alike.

It overlooks the bright blue waters of the Mexican Caribbean and is conveniently located in Cancun’s Hotel Zone. Below, I share the selection of restaurants and bars, entertainment, spa services, and family-friendly amenities including a kid’s pool, activities program, ping pong and table games. Our family was thoroughly entertained throughout their stay.

Beach Palace Rooms

Beach Palace provides rooms to suit all of your needs. Whether you’re a family looking for a Family Deluxe Room or honeymooners looking for a honeymoon suite. Aside from the spacious accommodations, all of the rooms include additional amenities like a huge flat screen TV and a fully stocked refrigerator.

We stayed in a Superior Deluxe room with a view of the lagoon from our private balcony. The balcony was our favorite part! There was space for a small dining table and chairs as well as an outdoor patio bed. It was a joy to sit out there each morning, and sometimes order room service. We were very comfortable in our beds and enjoyed our sleep very much on their mattresses and bedding. The room layout includes two double sinks behind the partial wall giving an open vibe, however the bathroom and stand up shower give you complete privacy.

The Pools of Beach Palace

Beach Palace is ideally located on a phenomenal stretch of beach. The water is perfectly clear and the sand is soft and white. The ocean is full of playful waves we jumped over. If your children prefer pools to ocean water, you’ll be happy to know the resort features three pools with swim-up bars and a kiddie pool and water slide near the kids club area. Two of those pools are on the 14th floor rooftop overlooking the ocean and lagoon. This gives guests a rare opportunity to see the sun set over the lagoon in the west.

The main pool is well heated, kids can swim in it all day. It’s also where the water activities would take place everyday like stand-up paddleboard yoga and zumba.

There’s also a separate pool where the waterslide is that the kids never seemed to tire of. They went through it forwards, backwards, and even together. It was all I had to say to get them excited for this trip!

There are pools and hot tubs on the rooftop. We were able to relax in the hot tubs when there wasn’t any sun out.

Cancun's Beach at Beach Palace

This was the main draw of the resort for us. If you’re looking for the perfect beach, this is it. It is one of the best beaches we’ve ever been to around the world. The sand is soft, the waves are swimmable, and the color is beautiful. You won’t be stuck swimming with seaweed like you’ll find at other resorts.

Restaurants

The food at Beach Palace was one of our favorite things about the resort! We definitely over indulged! There were so many delicious choices over the course of our stay from around the world. They use fresh ingredients that have an authentic flair that will have you enjoying your meals throughout your stay. Below we describe the restaurants we enjoyed and what they have to offer:

Tequila

Tequila is a Mexican buffet restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. It has a good variety to choose from and some fabulous croissants and pastries in the morning. They also have an omelette station with a fantastic cook! Very sweet and happy to help. They always have something freshly grilled to serve for lunch. Dinner themes change every night but everything is delicious and full of authentic flavour.

Smokehouse

This restaurant is outdoors with an amazing view of the pool and ocean. The quality and presentation of the food is amazing. We loved everything we ordered from steak and seafood to dessert.

Bocelli

Bocelli is an Italian restaurant adjacent to the pool area. Serving specialty cuisine from Italy and the Mediterranean, we enjoyed the way they prepared our dishes and loved the dessert! The restaurant is the most lavish one at the resort with a view of the ocean. No details were overlooked with the food presentation.

WOK

They also have a variety of options in this Pan- Asian Restaurant where you can enjoy authentically prepared delicacies. It’s the perfect oriental fusion with a hint of mexian flavor.

Skybar/Dessert Bar/Poolside

There’s a dessert bar full of ice cream, crepes and an assortment of cakes. Most certainly my little ones’ favorite part. There are also snack bars by the pools too that are perfect for lunch in the sun and of course the option of ordering room service.

Both the Skybar up on the roof and the pool on the main deck offer snack menus as well. They also offer wonderful views.

We typically enjoy having lunch poolside so as to not disrupt our daily fun/activities. Being able to order poolside (and even beachside) worked out perfectly for our family. The menu on the main deck was pretty extensive and we liked everything we tried.

Entertainment

Daily beach activities as well as evening entertainment are also a part of the Beach Palace experience. The resort puts on a different live show every night, including a Michael Jackson Revue, a fire Show, a magic show and more. Adults can also head over to the sports bar for some dancing or schmoozing.

Beach Palace’s Playroom

This is a state-of-the-art playroom with the latest in gaming technology and immersive play spaces. We were able to relax and enjoy ourselves as the kids played under the watchful-eye of trusted staff. They also have a schedule for fun-filled events and activities for kids to enjoy in this colorful space.

The Friendliest Staff

We’ve stayed at some pretty impressive 5-star resorts around the world, but I will say the staff here is one of the friendliest. They made us feel so welcomed and genuinely happy to have us here. I felt like I was saying goodbye to friends of ours when it was time for us to leave. We would be happy to come back and recommend the resort to anyone looking to book their next vacation.
